Finding your way to us

By car From Stuttgart (180 km) A 81 towards Singen. After the exit for Hegau there are signs for Konstanz. Once in Konstanz, follow signs for the “Universität”. From Zurich (75 km) Highway N7 towards Kreuzlingen/Konstanz. After the border, first follow signs for „Mainau“. Pay attention for signs for the “Universität”. You can park at one of the four university lots, which are marked. Find your individual travel route here

By train Destination: Hauptbahnhof Konstanz Buses 9A and 9B stop right in front of the train station and will take you directly to the main entrance of the university. Obtain an individual itinerary from the Deutsche Bahn AG.

By taxi; ask the taxi driver at the station to take you to the University, but not to the main entrance. The taxi should follow signs to the "Parking-Nord". Do not enter the parking (right turn), but continue straight, pass a bus parking and a gate (always open, allowed for taxis) in direction "Warenannahme". Stop at the first building to the right (Z7), situated about 300 m after the Parkplatz-Nord". Take 4 steps down from the road to the entrance. The building is easily recognizable by a free-standing 2 x 2 m metal box fixed to the roof on the roadside.

By bus Lines 9A and 9B: Get on, for example, at the main train station. Line 11: Get on, for example, at Wollmatingen train station.

The entrance of building Z (red circle) is on floor 6 from south and floor 7 from the north. The offices and labs of Prof. Leist you will find on floor Z9.
